Savor Your Monday Morning Coffee and Let’s Talk About 2020

Monday Morning Coffee is a weekly celebration of local businesses, enjoyed with a fresh cup of coffee.

Since the inception of SJC Marketing in 2005, strategy has been the cornerstone of our values. We firmly believe that deploying a strategy and measuring results is the key to getting the best return on investment (ROI) from your marketing efforts.

As we approach the year 2020 (yeah, it doesn’t feel real to us either…), we can start to look back on what we’ve learned and what’s to come. For instance, what did we see that worked with social media ads this year that seems to be a trend? Here are some things to think about for your social ad strategy for 2020 as you let your coffee cool down this morning.

Bump Up Your Budget

To be able to compete in the Facebook ad game, you may need to spend a little more on ad campaigns. The more you spend, the more that Facebook and Instagram will learn about who is most likely to convert from your ads so they can use that information to serve them to the right people.

We’re not saying you need to suddenly jack up your ad budget by hundreds of dollars, but slowly increasing your budget on a month-to-month basis can help you get more out of your ad spending.

Use Video Content

You’ve probably heard us say it on numerous occasions at this point, but we hope you’re ready to hear it one more time. Video continues to be HUGE on social. Video content gets far better engagement than content without it, and the same sentiment is true with social media ads.

It may seem like an expensive venture but having quality video work is absolutely worth it to help you stand out amongst your competitors. In fact, we offer high quality video work at SJC Marketing and can help you get that part of your marketing strategy nailed down.

Now that we are less than two months from 2020, it’s wise to look ahead and start planning your marketing strategy for next year. Need help nailing your marketing strategy in the “year of perfect vision”? Let’s talk!
