Monday Morning Coffee and a Little Entertainment

Monday Morning Coffee is a weekly celebration of local businesses, enjoyed with a fresh cup of coffee.

We recently had the pleasure of working on a new website for a neighbor of ours at our Kansas City office — Twilight Entertainment. When we first met with Jacob and Danny, we loved their energy, their passion and their vision for the company.

Twilight Entertainment was born out of some natural occurrences that happened with family and friends continuing to ask Jacob to organize and coordinate events for them. They knew his skill set and his experience with party planning and entertaining, and pretty soon, it became clear that event planning was his future.

So almost six years ago, Twilight Entertainment was born, primarily focused on wedding planning, with a long-term goal in mind to execute all types of events. Now they offer custom event planning, in addition to community event planning.

Jacob Scott, founder and president of Twilight Entertainment, has worked on community events for the City of Parkville, Mo., like Parkville Days, the 4th of July Parade, MicroBrew Fest and more. He and his co-event planner, Danny Moran, both have a passion for Kansas City and bringing the community together.

The other aspect of Twilight Entertainment that we were drawn to was their unique spin on the purpose of the business. Their ultimate goal for Twilight Entertainment is to bring attention to and awareness of mental health issues in the Kansas City area. Because of personal stories close to Jacob and Danny’s hearts, they have created a space for their business, their passions and their hearts to work together. A portion of each event’s revenue is donated to Children’s Mercy for the research and development of mental health studies.

This means that every bride planning her wedding with Twilight Entertainment can know that some of her money is going to have a positive impact on her community. That private backyard BBQ host can feel great about funds from his event (which was a hit, by the way) going to help Children’s Mercy’s mental health research.

If all the woman in our company could do-over our weddings, you bet we’d pick Twilight Entertainment to be our event planner! We’re super excited to be working with this dynamic duo. And we’re even more excited to be debuting their first website! Check out twilightentertainmentkc.com to book the planning of your next event! Oh, and if you’re in the market for a new website, we know some people
