The business was purchased in April of this year by Midwest Adaptive Sports. This non-profit started in 2011 and focuses on positively impacting the lives of those with physical, cognitive, emotional or behavioral challenges through adaptive recreational and competitive sports. They strive to provide fun and build the athletes self-esteem, confidence and help them develop physically. They also promote enhanced active participation in all aspects of the community by promoting the concept of ability through integration, public awareness and education.
Northland Outdoor Adventures is a perfect match with the goals of this non-profit and a great way for you to enjoy the great outdoors in Northwest Missouri. You can rent one person and tandem kayaks, paddle boards and bikes. They also have adaptive equipment for those with physical challenges. You can rent by the hour, for three hours, or for a full day.
