With a few members of our team being Kansas City residents, they are well aware of what’s become a monthly tradition in the area. On the first Friday of each month, a special opportunity is presented to the community as they get a chance to check out one of the best areas of downtown KC. The Crossroads Arts District is home to many art galleries, boutiques and so much more, and they go all out on one Friday of the month.
First Fridays typically draw a crowd of over 1,000 people who are ready to check out some beautiful art and enjoy the vibrant culture of Kansas City. There are artists performing on nearly every corner, live theater, and SO much terrific artwork from up-and-coming local artists.
Now the part that really gets you excited … FOOD TRUCKS! There are dozens and dozens of food trucks with delicious hot food ready for you to enjoy. From smoky barbeque to greasy tacos, the options are endless as you walk around and enjoy the scenery and downtown vibe.
