Ah, breakfast. It already gets quite a bit of love as the “most important meal of the day”, and for good reason! It gives your metabolism a nice boost to start your day which does wonders for your body’s ability to function and do what you do best … oh and breakfast food is downright delicious too, so that part isn’t bad either.
Speaking of ridiculously awesome breakfast food, have you heard about a popular Denver eatery that recently opened up in downtown Kansas City? Wait, you haven’t? Well, fasten your seatbelts …
Snooze, An A.M. Eatery opened up its first location back in 2006 in the Denver area and hasn’t looked back since. They now have over 40 locations spanning across the U.S., including a new location in Westport in Kansas City, Missouri that opened this past February, and brunch fanatics can’t get enough.
The menu ranges from hearty breakfast options like benedicts and breakfast “sammies” to mouth-watering french toast and pancakes. For the indecisive folks out there, you can even get a Pancake Flight which lets you try each of their three specialty pancakes, Blueberry Streusel, Sweet Potato and Pineapple Upside Down.
Snooze also offers a lighter side to their menu for those who aren’t in the mood for heavier fare. You can get some of their classics like the Bravocado Toast and the Sweet Potato Hash, among plenty of other healthy items.
Another fun element of their restaurants is the modern feel you get when you walk in the door. Their seating situation is unique and fun, as they provide plenty of booth seating and comfortable rounded and cushioned chairs for guests seated at tables. Not to mention, the color scheme is vibrant, yet tasteful and welcoming.
SJC team member Dylan, recommends the Sandwich I Am! Along with a hilarious nod to a Dr. Seuss classic, he told us it is one incredible breakfast sandwich on a pretzel roll with cage-free eggs, a sausage patty, cheddar cheese and a side of smoked cheddar hollandaise.
So if you have the chance, stop by Snooze, An A.M. Eatery in the Westport area of downtown KC and you won’t be disappointed with their charming staff and wonderful food!
