Monday Morning Coffee With Provisions by Bee and Thistle

SJC Marketing shares one of their favorite places to grab a delicious slice of pizza.

Bee and Thistle, a gift and home goods store in St. Joseph, opened on Frederick Avenue. this time last year. With home décor for every style, you can’t go in their store without finding something perfect for your home.  And with endless options, you are more likely to come home with several new items to add just the right touch.

If you have visited Bee and Thistle, you know the beautiful items they have in their shop.  But just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, they added a companion store. Provisions by Bee and Thistle is a gourmet kitchen food and wine shop. With a fun theme of everything charcuterie and more, it is a great stop for fun items for your next party and gifts for someone special on your list. The two stores are linked through an open door.

Before your next gathering, visit Bee & Thistle and Provisions for decor and gourmet foods.

Both shops are located in the historic Ryan Block Building, 1139 Frederick Avenue. The Ryan Block Building was built in 1889 by butcher John B. Ryan and housed a variety of groceries and butcher shops. So, how appropriate that a new business opens over 130 years later offering similar goods.

Provisions not only offers food but also cooking utensils, serving options, flatware, barware and don’t forget fun gifts. They strive to carry items that you can’t find in any other store in St. Joseph. Items include local, national and international products. If you can’t decide on what gift to get for someone, they can help you shop or put together a gift basket for you.

Customers on Facebook already have rave reviews.

One customer gushed, “Such a beautiful space!”

“Great shop,” said another.

They plan on doing tasting parties in the future. This could include food and wine which sound perfect for a Team SJC outing!

For a fun, unique shopping experience in a historic and elegant building, visit Provisions and make sure to step through the doorway to Bee and Thistle.
