Open your eyes to the most beautiful lashes you’ve ever seen. That’s how one client described her experience at B’Lashed by Tasha Roberts. The local business recently celebrated its two-year anniversary. Tasha, a native of St. Joseph, Missouri, left her full time and part time jobs to expand her business with a goal to make her clients feel even more beautiful than when they walk in.

“This is not just a business and you are not just a client to me,” Tasha said. “I have found my passion and I love enhancing women’s beauty and watching them gain confidence with something as simple as lashes or a spray tan. I want every client to feel completely relaxed, comfortable and enjoy their time while in my chair or spray tent.”

She offers a variety of services including.

  • Eyelash extensions, lifts and tints that all enhance the look, length and fullness of a person’s eyelashes. Individual lashes are dipped in a medical-grade adhesive and bonded to your natural eyelash. The process is done one lash at a time. It can take some time, but you will be comfortable in a recliner with relaxing music. Some people say they sleep during the process. The lashes last about two to three weeks if you are careful when you rub your eyes, wash your face, etc.
  • Eyebrow threading, which is an alternative to waxing. It’s chemical free, better for sensitive skin, lasts longer and is more precise than waxing. A thin cotton or polyester thread is doubled, then twisted. It is rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. This method allows for more defined brows and it can create better definition.
  • Airbrush spray tan, a sunless tanning option. A thin mist is sprayed on the desired areas of the skin and turns it a natural looking shade of tan. The chemical used is actually colorless but interacts with the amino acids that naturally occur in the skin cells.

In the future she will be offering permanent make-up services after she finishes her apprenticeship.

Tasha wants to make your vision a reality. Seeing her clients smile and the twinkle in their eyes makes it all worth it for her.
