Dutch Bros has built a loyal following across the country by offering signature drinks, upbeat service and a sense of community at every stop. The Dutch Bros story began in 1992 in Grants Pass, Oregon, where two brothers started selling coffee from a pushcart near the railroad tracks. Driven by a love for coffee, their family’s Dutch heritage, and strong community support, the small operation quickly gained momentum. At its core, Dutch Bros really is about two Dutch brothers who built something special through hard work, relationships and a genuine passion for what they do. With help from family, friends and loyal customers, the brand expanded throughout the Northwest before making its way across the country and into the Midwest. What started as a humble pushcart grew into one of America’s most recognizable and beloved coffee brands.

Today, Dutch Bros offers an extensive menu that goes beyond traditional coffee. From classic espresso drinks and flavorful teas to energy drinks, smoothies and tasty food items, there’s something for everyone. Whether you love trying new creations or stick to a tried-and-true favorite (hello, Hot Golden Eagle), Dutch Bros has a way of turning even the most ordinary Monday morning into something special.

As the St. Joseph coffee scene continues to grow, this addition. brings another fresh, energetic option to a city that already loves great coffee. Slated to open in early 2026, St. Joe is getting closer to another go-to spot for your daily caffeine fix.
