Lettuce Dream, based in Maryville, Mo., is a non-profit, social enterprise with a vision for pairing employment opportunities with hydroponic farming. Lettuce Dream relies on grants and the donations of community members that share a vision for locally grown produce and employment opportunities for every individual. Lettuce Dream recognized that without increased awareness of their vision in the local community to drive up fundraising, it would be difficult to reach their goals.
As Lettuce Dream began to expand their operation by adding greenhouses and an operational building, they reached out to SJC Marketing to help create a branding strategy to increase awareness of their organization by creating a website that reflects the quality of their product. In addition, SJC also assisted in public relations efforts for a successful $350,000 capital campaign and is proud to see Lettuce Dream’s lettuce sold in Northwest Missouri grocery stores today.
